HI!

My name is Evan and welcome to AttunedMusician.com!

I’m a passionate musician, with a lot of my focus being on drumming. I remember starting drums at the age of 10 and it’s funny to think how much has changed over the past 21+ years.

I specifically remember telling my mom that I didn’t know if I wanted to be in band (at school) because I’d have to practice.

Little did I know that I’d become obsessed with practicing a few short years later. It was around the age of 14-15 that I started getting really serious and practicing several hours a week.

I was completely obsessed with everything about the drums and I was always trying to better myself because the more I practiced, the more I understood!

Eventually, I went on to playing in different bands with friends and performing as much as humanly possible. I’ve really had the opportunity (and still often do) of playing in different states across the country.

It’s also opened up the world of endorsements for me, which I never really knew about before drums. More importantly, though, are the people I’ve met and the experiences of JUST PLAYING!

The greatest thing about learning anything new is being able to apply it and build off of it. Your ideas can sprout ideas (sort of like an idea-ception 😉 ).

That’s pretty much why I started this blog here. I want to be able to share tips, tricks, and my experiences with drumming and other music-related stuff. I forgot to mention I dabble on guitar, sing a bit, and write some personal songs as well.

What’s great about those other avenues is, they give me an opportunity to express myself differently than I can on the drums. Isn’t music amazing?
