My Recommended Gear

Here’s the gear I use/am familiar with that I highly recommend:

Sticks:

PROMARK American Hickory Drum Sticks Wood 5A

Drums:

I highly recommend Ludwig as they’ve always had solid-sounding kits and the quality is 10/10.

Ludwig Classic Maple 3 Piece

Ludwig Hot Rod Black Beauty

Ludwig Classic Maple Snare drum

Drum Hardware:

For as long as I’ve been drumming, I always seem to come back to Tama. Their precision and keen design go hand-in-hand with these solid pieces of hardware (hi-hat stand, cymbal stand, snare stand, double bass pedal, drum throne).

Tama HH915D Speed Cobra 2-Leg Hi-Hat Cymbal Stand

Tama HC83BW Roadpro Straight Cymbal Boom Stand

Tama HS800W Roadpro Omniball Snare Stand

Pearl P-3002D Eliminator Demon Drive Double Bass Drum Pedal

ROC-N-SOC Nitro Throne

Cymbals

I love cymbals so much that it’s hard to stick with one brand. Sabian cymbals have always had such a pleasant sound and feel to me. I’d definitely have to recommend this pack:

Sabian HHX Legacy Cymbal Pack

🛎️ Sabian HHX 22 Complex crash here

I’ve also been endorsed by Saluda Cymbals since 2011. They’ve got a vast variety of cymbals. Also, if you have a particular cymbal in mind that you really like the sound of, you can ask them to make it sound like that cymbal (for a fraction of the cost). They have high-quality cymbals and I recommend them (even if I wasn’t endorsed). Jamie is the head honcho over there. Tell him Evan Chapman sent you. He’s a great dude.

I have been buying from Zzounds and Musician’s Friend for years and they both have among the best customer service in the music industry.
